Dr. Madzivire is an early career researcher who is driven by a passion to explore and tackle social issues affecting young people’s lives, particularly around the areas of religion, identity formation, family life, marriage and sexual and reproductive health.
Dr Madzivire recently completed her PhD at Rhodes University (South Africa), with her research exploring child marriages in the Zimbabwean context. In the recent past she has provided consultative services to Sonke Gender Justice in Johannesburg as well as Women and Law in Southern Africa (WLSA) under the Spotlight Initiative. She has over 4 years' experience working with communities and non-governmental organisations.
Dr. Madzivire is currently a lecturer at the Midlands State University (MSU) in Gweru, Zimbabwe.
